 Sheep Regulations
· Exhibits to be in pens by 8.30am Show Day, as judging will start punctually
· Ovine Brucellosis—all rams entered (including black and coloured sheep) must be from an accredited free flock or blood tested within 60 days prior to Show Day. Certificate to be presented to gain entry to Grounds.  Vermin infested sheep will be disqualified and removed.
· All Merinos exhibited must belong to a registered flock. Entries in British breeds and Poll Dorsets are restricted to animals bred in a registered flock and exhibited by Members of the Australian Society of Breeders of British Sheep and Members of the Poll Dorset Association.
 · All sheep exhibited must be visibly tattooed in the ear with the Society’s registered Trademark (F in Diamond) and the breeder’s registered flock number
All short wool sheep must be machine shorn on or after 1 July
· All carpet wool sheep must carry at least 2½ months and not more than 6 months wool
· NOTE—Strong Wool, any other strong wool breed, including Carpet Wool Sheep (shorn or in wool)

Owners must have their pet lambs in the Animal Nursery by 9.30am Show Day to be ready for the Judges.

Sashes awarded for Champion Ewe and Champion Lamb
 Pens of three lambs will be weighed and judged on a points system. Exhibitors will have option of selling lambs at market value. Points will be deducted for lambs not fitting into the specifications.
1. Trade lamb 37-46kg live weight
2. Export lamb 46kg and above live weight
 Highest scoring lamb sired by Poll Dorset Ram wins $30 (if more than 3 entries).
