Exhibits must be dropped off before 6pm Thursday 16 November for judging Friday 17 November at 1pm. Exhibits receive every care and attention. Exhibits sent via post or courier will be received prior to Thursday 17 November. All exhibits must be modern, unwashed and unworn. Badly soiled articles will not be judged. All work to have been completed within the last two years and be the bona fide work of the exhibitor (except VAS qualifiers, per below). Unfinished works not eligible. Exhibit tickets to be attached via safety pin/staple with name & phone number on the back (include age if a junior, i.e., under 18).
VAS Ltd & Group Qualifying Regulations
· Winning exhibitors in VAS Ltd Competitions will represent Mansfield at the Group Final in 2024. If successful at group level, will go onto represent the group at the 2024 Royal Melbourne Show.
HAND KNITTING
1. VAS LTD. KNITTING COMPETITION. A hand knitted blanket not more than 1 metre on any one side. Knitted in one piece, minimum of 5 different stitches (patterns). Each exhibit must be made from pure wool/wool blend of any ply. Exhibitor to attach from wool used or receipt from the woollen mill.
